   • Microsoft can’t just sign people up themselves, which is why they forced everyone to migrate over that 3 year period. Sure, but if someone had a Microsoft account foo@hotmail.com, and the Mojang account also happened to be foo@hotmail.com, they could have probably automatically migrated that pretty safely.
