Dec 17, 2022 · So without further ado, let’s look at 35 things you can do in Minecraft. 1. Killing the Ender Dragon. Although it is the main storyline, Minecraft does little at explaining the quest to you. Thus you may not even have any idea of the Ender Dragon existing in the game, especially if you are a beginner.
- Convert a Nether fortress. Nether fortresses shouldn’t be those scary things that we visit every now and then for Blaze Rods and XP. We can really make them look like never before.
- Build a sky base. Go up high now that the height limit has been increased so much and start working on your own Skyblock base, starting from scratch. You can either create a mini-world by towering up and starting from there or take a huge, impressive mountain and turn it into the best sky base that you’ve ever seen.
- Sky race! If you have an Elytra, you can practice your flying skills in a really fun way. Simply place lots of hoops up in the sky, suspend them with balloons (go into Education Edition for that… or get creative!)
- Complete achievements. You’d think that since you’re playing Minecraft for such a long time, you’ve completed all achievements in the game. But you’ll probably be surprised if you check them out.

- Slay the Ender Dragon. Although killing the Ender Dragon may seem like the end of your playthrough, there are so many fun things to do after the main story ends!
- Explore the End Cities. After slaying the Ender Dragon, players will gain access to what is known as the End Cities. End Cities are floating islands in the End, accessible only via a randomly spawning portal, bridging out to them using blocks, or using ender pearls.
- Hunt for Rare Items. Although many rare items in Minecraft are difficult to obtain, they make the game much more fun and easier to play. Not every rare item in Minecraft is worth hunting down, but some of the most rewarding items include the Totem of Undying, the Elytra, and Enchanted Golden Apples.
- Build Redstone Contraptions. Building anything in Minecraft is fun but building with Redstone makes it even more special. Redstone can be used to create an innumerable number of contraptions, from automatic doors and lights to functioning calculators and traps!
- Dig a quarry. A quarry is a big project, but the rewards are huge. You just dig a big hole down to bedrock and put a chest under it. In hardcore mode, a quarry is a very big push to help you survive.
- Change the rules. Try changing some rules! Here are some examples: Level system: Rookie (Beginner Level): You can't use tools or craft an item. New player (Levels 1-4): You can use only wooden and gold tools, only wood, planks, cobblestone, and dirt.
- Nomadic mode. You cannot build a home. In this case, a "house" is defined as having four walls and a door. Not only that, but you cannot feed animals. You cannot cook food, but you can smelt ore.
- Build an army. If you're in a server and there's a lot of people there, why not start a war? Build up your own army, feed your warriors, give them arms and armor, and rush to destroy enemies bases, while defending your own.
