However it tells me I need a BT password (which is not the one I use to access my BT emails at BT's own site), and also it tells me I may need an 'app password'. I don't know what that is. Oct 5, 2023 · Syncing calendar and contacts from BT mail (@btinternet) account between webmail and Outlook. Go to solution. I am using the new Outlook for Windows and have successfully linked my BT email account to receive and send emails (using IMAP settings). However, the calendar and contacts don't show up in Outlook (or vice versa if created in Outlook).
