- Atlas. 17,300 Square Miles. Atlas is an MMO with an impressively large map to explore. Players sail the high seas in search of adventure, resources, and treasure in Atlas; meaning much of the map is water.
- Guild Wars Nightfall. 15,000 Square Miles. This MMORPG came out in 2006, but it still has one of the biggest maps for the genre. Guild Wars is very similar to World of Warcraft, something which is probably not coincidental, but manages to outdo that game in map size (by quite a bit).
