Aug 5, 2024 · During Season 31, thePUBG Nations Cup 2024will feature Rondo as the official map following the Esports World Cup 2024. To accommodate this, Rondo will replace Vikendi with a 20% probability in Season 31. We had initially announced that Deston and Rondo would rotate on a seasonal basis for a diverse gameplay experience.

A new area takes the scene in PUBG's Patch 25.1. Check out the refreshed Miramar map, a harsh landscape home to drastic desert gales. With new features like Ziplines and colorful new locales, there's much to explore in this latest update.
Update 25.1 is set to go live in PUBG on August 9, 2023 for PC and August 17, 2023 for Consoles. View the maintenance schedule below to learn more about what time the patch will go live:

That's right, a new map area will soon roll into PUBG. This desert area, complete with colorful markets and areas of dry scrubland dotted with palm trees, will make for some interesting new terrain to explore.
Here are the three new Points of Interest to look out for in Miramar:
•A lively hustle and bustle of markets and plazas, Partona is a circular village alive with a festival that harmoniously blends indigenous practices and traditions.
•Partona replaces the previous area, Los Higos.
•Conceptualized from an abandoned retreat, the Resort is majestically perched on a hill overlooking the sweeping southern seascape.
•Adjusted the locations of house sets and roadways.
•An oasis for trucks laden with materials to take a much-needed break.
•The Truck Stop replaces the previous Junkyard area.
•The redesigned layout includes a main road, secondary roads, and rustic dirt paths for improved navigation and engagement.
•Improvements have been made to the surrounding terrain.
Here is what you can expect from the new Sandstorm feature in PUBG Update 25.1:
•Replaces Miramar's existing Red Zone.
•Gradually depletes the health of players inside, regardless of their location - be it within a vehicle or inside a building.
•Obstructs visibility to a certain extent.
•Slightly slows down movement speed.
•Extinguishes Smoke Grenades and Molotovs.
Say hello to the first Designated Marksman Rifle (or DMR) in PUBG, the Dragunov.
•Weapon type: Designated Marksman Rifles (DMR)
•Fire Modes: Single
•Can attach up to the 15x Scope.
•Ammo: 7.62mm
•Damage per shot: 58 (Basic) ~ 73 (Max)
Three new vehicle skins will be released in Patch 25.1, in collaboration with Aston Martin. If you own the Aston Martin skin, you can unlock special Aston Martin Containers in your PUBG matches to drive around in style!
Aston Martin Container:
•An exclusive Aston Martin container is available in the starting areas of the Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Taego, and Deston.
•The container can only be unlocked by players who own the Aston Martin skin.
•If multiple Aston Martin skins are concurrently equipped, the system will randomly select one to display.
•Only the player who unlocks the container and their teammates can operate or ride in the Aston Martin vehicle.
Area modifications are rolling out in Update 25.1, some massive and others on a slightly smaller scale. Here are all the changes made to areas in PUBG for Update 25.1:
Alcantara:
•Removed the Trailer Park and Ruins, and in its place, repositioned Alcantara to be slightly closer to the heart of the map.
•Removed main roads that meandered around the outskirts.
•Inserted a main road coursing through the town.
•Tidied up nearby terrain and roads.
