Sep 28, 2024 · 2025 Tucson HEV 12V Battery Needs to be Reset. Less than a week after purchasing a 2025 N-line hybrid, I got locked out of my car, because the 12v battery had been disabled. I had to use the mechanical key to get in the car and reset the battery. I brought it to the dealership and there was no fault found.

I'm in the process of researching a new car which is going to be a SUV, Tucson is one of the contenders. I'm in my 60's and want to go the SUV route vs a sedan. I've owned a few Hyundais since 2004 so I like the brand.
Dec 21, 2023 · Dec 21, 2023. 2021 Tucson often won't start. Multiple attempts usually get it to turn over. It always starts in front of a mechanic. They have repeatedly assured that the battery, alternator, and starter are okay. Hyundai dealership diagnostics were expensive and inconclusive. It has happened on long and short jaunts in mild weather.

What happens is that the bonnet latch in unlocked, and a pyrotechnic devices hidden under the hinges are activated popping the hinges and consequently the bonnet up. Apr 9, 2017 · The AWD in Hyundai and most cars these days aren't full time AWD. It only turns on when the computer senses that the front wheels are slipping which in turn activates the rear wheels or you can manually activate the AWD hence the "AWD lock" button. One of the reasons they do this is for the fuel savings.
