Sep 29, 2023 · In this guide, learn how to easily download and install maps on Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, enhancing your gameplay with new worlds and adventures.
To install these on your Windows 10 computer, you'll need to: 1.) Download the map that you want to play (all the latest Minecraft PE (Bedrock) maps should work on it). 2.) Open the file (usually .zip or .rar) with a file archive program, such as 7-Zip (it's free). 3.) Extract the map to your minecraft saves folder.
- Open the map folder that you saved it on the desktop and find the Minecraft Launcher inside it.
- Click on the three-line icon at the upper right corner of the Minecraft launcher window.
- Click on the Launch Options button at the upper right corner of the launcher menu.
- Click on the grey switch beneath the Advanced Settings heading and click on OKon the Java warning.

- A new window will pop up. Here you can select where you want the folder to be extracted. Personally, I think it's best to use the Downloads folder for this which in my case is called "Hämtade filer" but you can use any location you want as long you know how to find it.
