Crystal Palace Park is one of South London's largest public parks, situated in the Borough of Bromley, at the meeting point of four other boroughs (Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark). At the top of the 200-acre Grade II* listed park is the site where Sir Joseph Paxton’s large glass Crystal Palace stood between 1854 and 1936, when it was tragically destroyed in a spectacular fire.
