Feb 11, 2022 · Warwick is a very diverse university and was named as one of the most International universities in the world (ranked 20th by Times Higher Education). Also from personal experience, in my first year, my flat was roughly half international students, half UK students, which was a great experience and pretty standard across most of my friend's flats.

It felt the uni is more focussed on bigger departments such as econ. Others might disagree of course. A visit to Warwick over my summer break also made me fall in love with the campus, and caused me to adjust my personal rankings of university choices. Of course it depends on what offers we all get and we shouldn't be too fixated on our own rankings but I was very impressed but how modern and how many facilities the university is providing students.
Original post by JD2468. I had this exact same choice to make for economics 😅. I chose Warwick. Ucl is more well rounded while Warwick is more known/specialised in economics/maths/finance. And I really don’t want to live in London as a student, and this is coming from someone who’s lived in London all their life.
Rootes is also a lot nearer to the centre of the uni than the accommodation in cryfield/lakeside etc. saying this, everything is so spread out on the warwick campus that wherever you are living, people will be walking to and from the SU for nights out, none of the halls are 'next door' as it were. if you get an en suite, you won't lose the ...
