Aug 24, 2019 · i am new at the game and i noticed that i can only have one world for each map. can i change that somehow. or make new worlds cause i would like to have like a test world and a world where i can play at. yes... you can backup your save folder in SP and swap out each one as required.

I want to change that, and play on each map until I “finish” it, i.e. take down all the caves, and LEAST gamma bosses (that’s my goal for now), get max level, and tame, say, 80% of all creatures. This is going to be done singleplayer on PC, i have a few mods, nothing too insane.
Yes. They should stay, u can constantly go from map to map if u like. Tame X on island, hop map to tame something on scorched earth but u need something u forgot, swap to Ur main map, get in base, grab item and go to scorched earth. Also every base u build shouldd stay.

The Island -> Scorched Earth -> The Center -> Ragnarok -> Valguero -> Crystal Isles -> Aberration -> Extinction -> Genesis Part 1 -> Genesis Part 2. This order fits in the non-story maps after the non-ending of Scorched Earth.
