JDK 17 binaries are free to use in production and free to redistribute, at no cost, under the Oracle No-Fee Terms and Conditions License, where LTS stands for long-term support. Sep 14, 2021 · As an LTS release, Oracle JDK 17 will receive performance, stability and security updates for at least 8 years following the Oracle Critical Patch Update (CPU) schedule as outlined in the Oracle Java SE Support Roadmap.
