Tier 1, 2 and 3 are unlocked. I do following to farm coins: I start Tier 1 and let the game go. I check it once in 5 minutes during the first hour, until almost all upgrades are maxed out. Then, I leave it for hours without holding a phone or even looking at it. It goes by itself up to Wave 1000, making a million coins.
