   Mar 2, 2022 · wscotchmer. Hi everyone. I still use my Playbook from time to time and lately I get prompted to sign in with my BlackBerry ID every few minutes. If I try to sign in with my account, the sign-in process just hangs and it never signs in. If I cancel, the sign in prompt pops up after about a minute or so.

I ran into this recently but, fortunately, still had my account information. I assume it's to deter theft. Meanwhile, don't reset your phone to get around losing your account credentials. It may not work.
