It is one of the UK’s top three tourist attractions and generates an estimated £100 million in economic benefits to London annually. In 2009 Tate embarked on a major project to develop Tate Modern.
All Tate Modern entrances are step-free. You can enter via the Turbine Hall and into the Natalie Bell Building on Holland Street, or into the Blavatnik Building on Sumner street. The Exhibition is on Level 4 of the Blavatnik Building. There are lifts to every floor of the Blavatnik and Nathalie Bell buildings. Alternatively you can take the stairs.
Tate Modern is open every day, apart from 24–26 December when we are closed. You can visit us from 10.00–18.00. It is quietest at the start and end of the day. You can call us on +44 (0)20 7887 8888 to find out how busy the gallery will be.
