Lwów (ukr. Львів, Lwiw) – miasto na Ukrainie, ośrodek administracyjny obwodu lwowskiego i rejonu lwowskiego. Lwów jest położony na pograniczu wschodniego Roztocza (Roztocze Lwowskie) i Wyżyny Podolskiej, nad rzeką Pełtwią. Jest ważnym ośrodkiem przemysłowym, węzłem lotniczym, kolejowym i drogowym.
The Lwów junction consisted of four stations in mid-1939 – main station Lwów Główny (now Ukrainian: Lviv Holovnyi), Lwów Kleparów (now Lviv Klepariv), Lwów Łyczaków (now Lviv Lychakiv), and Lwów Podzamcze (now Lviv Pidzamche). In August 1939 just before World War II, 73 trains departed daily from the Main Station including 56 local and 17 fast trains.
