Jun 8, 2022 · I have a Blackberry Classic Q20 - and originally, I'd set it up with my BB ID and it has protection enabled. Could not remember my device password as I hadn't used it in ages, so - deliberately put wrong password ten times and it factory reset - or so I thought.
There are two ways to reset your password for your BlackBerry device before resorting to a full reset. The first is to reset the password from your device by tapping or clicking the "Forgot Password" button when prompted to sign into your BlackBerry ID.
By locking the screen, you can help prevent your BlackBerry device from sending accidental messages or pocket dialing. Locking the screen doesn't turn off notifications for incoming calls or messages. Press the Power/Lock key on the top of your device. To unlock the screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

May 25, 2022 · If you have biometric login enabled on your device, use that to log in to the Android tablet and then change the password to something you can remember. If you can't, then make a full backup of your tablet and then perform a factory reset.
Aug 20, 2012 · 74. AliasCBG. Are you sure the popup dialog box asked for a password? Several times my PB asked me to type the word "blackberry" as the popup warning box instructed. I did not notice that they did not want my password until my 8th try and near panic.
