Jun 8, 2022 · Press and hold down the Power button, Volume UP and Volume DOWN buttons all at the same time. When the device starts booting, you can release the buttons. Try the Screen Reader for BBID again. Some devices need this (Power button, Vol - button, Vol + button) done a few times before the Screen Reader speaks about BBID.
Jan 4, 2022 · Update 1: To clarify, a wipe will REMOVE the device's BBID (if it still had one), and thus no Link backup/restores either. Update 2: With no obvious reason, a subset of those wiping post-shutdown can't get past the wifi-phase of the initial setup. If a solution is found, this will be updated.
Oct 25, 2022 · To perform a hard reset, remove the battery for a few seconds and then reinsert. For a soft reset, press and hold the Alt, Right-Shift, and Backspace/Delete keys. To restore your Blackberry to its original factory settings, go to Options > Security Settings > Security Wipe.

Aug 4, 2022 · There were no comments being read by the Screen Reader about the Blackberry ID while on the Wifi setup and therefore no "skip" comment to wait for and double tap to progress through the setup. No matter how many different variations of the fix I tried, or all the different methods mentioned by others that worked for thier device, none worked for mine.
