Try the Screen Reader for BBID again. Some devices need this (Power button, Vol - button, Vol + button) done a few times before the Screen Reader speaks about BBID.
Google Maps won't work, doesn't on my classic anymore. Don’t reset it when you get it ! Blackberry activation servers have been shutdown earlier this year. It has been reset by the seller. No problems though, there was a video tutorial on Youtube, explaining how to get it set up without the BB-Services and stuff.
