So without the need to reach for a phone or tablet and open the app, I can press one button on the speaker and have music playing, Sonos does not have this feature. To me the presets are invaluable. Also, you can set volume upper and lower limits within the app so that an idiot cannot accidentally hit full volume and risk damage to speakers.
