I just purchased a returned 8830WE from Verizon at a discount. Unfortunately, the phone has the old owner's email set up as well as his/her contacts. Is there a way to wipe all the old data and start over?
1- Open BlackBerry Manager. 2- Select BlackBerry Domain. 3- Click on Edit properties. 4- Select IT Policy. 5- Double click on IT Policy. 6- Select the corresponding IT policy or create a new one and click Properties. 7- Select Security. 8- Set the drop-down list “Reset to defaults to serial when erasing” in True.
First, you need an autoloader. Download the corresponding one for your device here: BB10 Autoloaders. Turn off your device, plug it into your computer and run the autoloader. It'll do its job and you should be at the setup screen!
