Jul 18, 2009 · Use the ALT + RIGHT SHIFT KEY + DEL method and you will not loose any programs or just remove you battery and put i back in. Quickpull is a great app also. BB App World offers it for free. If none of these methods work for your BB, then your BB is screwed.
On my 8830, I could press ALT, right CAP and DEL and get a reset without removing the battery. I don't have my Storm yet. Does this procedure work with the Storm?
Jun 24, 2015 · There are basically 2 forms of reset: a "hard" or "cold" reset, and a "soft" or "warm" reset. Most of the time, a "soft" reset is all that's necessary, but sometimes you need to take it a bit further. I recommend trying a soft reset first, and if that doesn't work, try a hard reset.
