Before stepping down as Chairman of The Dean Trust in 2017, Brian Rigby was a leading figure in many of the successes at Ashton-on-Mersey School, where he was Chairman of Governors since 1989. He played a key role in steering the school through a period of continued improvement that enabled pupils to achieve record GCSE results year on year.
