John Ritter. Johnathan Southworth Ritter [1] [2] (September 17, 1948 – September 11, 2003) was an American actor and comedian. Ritter was a son of the singing cowboy star Tex Ritter and the father of actors Jason and Tyler Ritter.
John Ritter was an American actor, producer and writer, best known for his roles in Three's Company (1976), Problem Child (1990) and Sling Blade (1996). He was the son of country singer Tex Ritter and won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his comedy performances.
