Oct 20, 2023 · F! has been severely impacting traffic in Las Vegas for weeks and weeks (and probably really months now) for construction, race course re-paving, and other major work in and around the strip. It turning 15 minute trips to hours sometimes and probably costing taxi and other transportation options millions and millions of dollars.
Cab companies and the Taxi Authority in Vegas needs to work out a system of fixed pricing per destination from the airport and between parts of the city like Strip to Downtown, Strip to outlet shopping, etc. They can go meter to less traveled destinations, or if a rider wants a cab waiting for an intermediate stop.
