Not sure if GoW will ever tackle Chinese mythology, but if they ever do, it would be a crime to leave out the monkey king. However, Sun Wukong will probably be the most overpowered deity that Kratos/Boy have fought up to this point (did I mention they based Goku off this guy?).

Back on track: Dont know if is possible to reboot the franchise again and again. But something with this attention to combat, story and detail would be amazing with a native american, pre-mayan, chinese or even Sumerian setting!
I honestly do not want Egypt. On the mural there appeared to be references to Chinese mythology and I belive Mayan mythology. The Mayans are just much more interesting to me than Egyptians plus explorer an open world in Egypt would suck because it's just flat sand dunes
