  5. As for the bookstores not selling our books...well, yes the could. It happened with Amazon to Hachette in their current dispute. Perhaps they won't stop selling you entirely, but the can and will put your books in the back, rather than giving you front of store space. They will order fewer copies, and reorder less frequently.
