Sep 28, 2024 · Restart your iPhone or iPad. Remove your SIM card, then reinsert it. Check for updated carrier settings in Settings > General > About. Check for problems with your mobile account. Try your SIM card in another device, and another SIM card in your device. Perform a network reset and/or a factory reset.
Reinsert the tray and retest. Try the SIM from a friend or family member with the same cellular carrier. If it works, replace your SIM card. You can request one from your service provider, or visit one of their physical locations. As a workaround, use your phone’s eSIM instead.
