PS2 was a beast and an amazing console but talking about Performance the Xbox is simply superior. A good showing of this is Gran turismo 3/4 vs Forza Motorsport, 2 games putting their system to the graphical edge. Forza looks miles better than GT, and it's not even a competition.
PS5 is connected via HDMI, and PS2 is connected via Component. The PS2 looks decent on the 4K TV (better than I expected). I bought a wireless controller, and it's been great. The only downside of the PS2: Loading times and Memory Card read/write operations.
