For early game it is all about unlocking more areas and content though quests. Mid game getting the first rare drops from monsters (dks kinda stuff) and beating harder content (cox, cg, tob) for the first time. Late game becoming proficient at cox/tob and completing inferno.

Why is OSRS more popular than RS3 anyways? Discussion. This is not meant to poke fun at the game for its lower player base. It has a good sized amount of players, especially for a game that's over 20 years old now.
First things first, even though it’s an mmo this game can be played almost entirely solo so other peoples’ progress doesn’t affect you. As far as as fun goes most people enjoy either pvp, pvm, or high intensity skilling. Pvm is by far the most beginner friendly so if you’re looking to get started just train slayer.
