Disney’s Hollywood Studios has something for everyone – from thrillers like Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance, and Rock ‘n Roller Coaster to Broadway-esque shows like Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, we think there’s plenty to keep the entire family busy on a visit.
- ENTER HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS BEFORE IT OPENS. Did you know that you can book breakfast reservations before Hollywood Studios even opens? We recommend breakfast at Hollywood & Vine to enter the park early and dine on a traditional American breakfast buffet.
- DO ROPE DROP THE RIGHT WAY. If breakfast isn’t your thing, another way to get in the park early is to come for “Rope Drop” (or park opening). A lot of people like to do this to get to all the best rides with the lowest wait times possible.
- SCHEDULE Ride Passes WISELY. Speaking of ride passes, it’s helpful to know how you should plan them for the day, since Hollywood Studios is known for having the best rides among all four Walt Disney World parks.
- USING Ride Passes IN TOY STORY LAND. Toy Story Land has three premium rides up for grabs in the Lightning Lane system. We’ve included a brief description for each ride so you can determine the best use of your pass
- Relax at Baseline Taphouse. Located back on Grand Avenue on the back left of the park, Baseline Taphouse is a chill pub perfect for adults. We recommend grabbing a beer – or one of their cool mocktails – and the Bavarian Pretzel and the California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate.
- Try Blue and Green Milk. A visit to Galaxy’s Edge isn’t complete without a trip to the milk stand and trying the iconic blue bantha milk. While there, grab both the blue and green milks, and see which you like best!
- Ride Rise of the Resistance. You can’t visit this park and not ride Rise of the Resistance. It is hands down one of the best attractions in Hollywood Studios, and potentially the best thing to do in Hollywood Studios!
- Eat at The Hollywood Brown Derby. Not much is more iconic than the Brown Derby restaurant, and Disney’s recreation of it in Hollywood Studios is just as iconic.
