Xbox very slow to boot. As title. Softmodded, takes about 2 minutes to get to dash. Does startup animation, seems to wait about 30 seconds then white microsoft appears on screen, black screen after a while then eventually dash. Any ideas as to why before I rip it apart.
I have a few theories. A. The hard drive is dying. B. Your SATA to IDE adapter may be impacting the speed of which the hard drive is being read. C. It takes a while for the Xbox to fully understand how big the drive is. D. The mod chip takes a while to hand over the hard drive.
