It's arguably (or maybe definitely, I'm not sure how it compares to RT) the go-to place for information about movies on the internet. That means that people like the users here use it, but so do people who have entirely different views on watching movies.

People who want to boost a movie's perception will likely rate the movie a 10, while those who didn't like it will give a rating of one.
