  5. In 2020/2021 I had to do it 6+ times IIRC. We lived in the Bay Area for 15 years and left around 2013. We unfortunately lived in Houston for about 7 years. We finally escaped the hellhole known as Houston Texas and we bought a house in Albuquerque. A beautiful 280K house for 1400$ month.

  7. San Francisco is basically an island; it's surrounded on three sides by water and most of the land border in the south is dominated by the San Bruno Mountain. Oakland has better transportation connections and has much more room to expand. Most shipping traffic now goes to Oakland. And frankly, the weather is better and less foggy in Oakland too.
