So why can't Mozilla bundle Pocket as a default extension with Firefox that can be easily removed like every other extension? Why does it have to be built-in to the browser -- which makes it hard for the non-technical users to even disable it. Is Mozilla that desperate to get users to use Pocket?
May 16, 2023 · In a few select cases, we did remove a feature from the app permanently in order to make room for new or improved experiences. For example: the feature that allowed you to make recommendations to other Pocket users to make way for the new Lists feature.
