Jun 13, 2016 · The world of Zootopia is one where mammals have evolved to the point where they can peacefully co-exist with one another. Excluding otters and hippos, are there any large marine mammals (e.g. whales, seals, dolphins) in the film? And if not, why not?
There are non mammals: Fish and insects, but they aren't sapient and they are used as feed for predators. Birds do exist, but we don't know if they are sapient or just "dumb" animals like fish and insects. Reptiles likely exist but we have no clue as to what their status in society is.
