Founded by Dixons City Academy, our trust has over 30 years’ experience in transforming education through our network of high-performing non-faith academies, and now operates in Bradford, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. Our schools include primary, secondary, all-through and sixth form.

Dixons Sixth Form Academy opened in 2019 in the Douglas Mill building on Manchester Road, Bradford. With the scale to offer more places to both Dixons students and others, it offers a broader curriculum than the smaller school-based sixth forms that it replaces.
Our impact. The Dixons Academies Trust mission is to challenge educational and social disadvantage in the Bradford and Leeds region. We establish high-performing non-faith academies which maximise attainment, value diversity, develop character and build cultural capital.
