Nov 1, 2010 · On October 10, 2008, Christopher Buckley – novelist, columnist for the National Review, and blogger for the online Daily Beast – posted a Daily Beast entry titled “Sorry, Dad, I’m Voting for Obama.” The posting was subtitled “The son of William F. Buckley has decided – shock! – to vote for a Democrat” (Buckley, 2008a).
Buckley's endorsement (entitled "Sorry Dad, I'm Voting for Obama" [10]) appeared in The Daily Beast. After many National Review readers and contributors expressed their displeasure, Buckley resigned from National Review.
