May 1, 2019 · I can also reproduce this but since I have a touch based laptop, if I click on the ‘leave group’ button using my touch screen, it works. It won’t let me leave the group if I use my mouse though. All the other buttons in the dropdown menu also showcase the same behavior.

Click on the group you would like to leave; Click the Leave Group button on the side right of the page: Group ownership. If the owner leaves the group, then any group member with a membership can claim ownership.
