Founded 135 years ago. Over 40. Events held each year. Brief History. Old Radleians have been gathering for dinners since the first days of the College and, at those early events, it was often commented that a society of Old Radleians would be of use to the College.
Sep 16, 2024 · Old Radleian Day 2024. On Saturday 14th September, we were delighted to welcome 170 guests back to the College for another memorable Old Radleian Day. We were particularly pleased to have those celebrating 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years since leaving Radley back at the College.
History. South front of Radley Hall – the "Mansion" – with part of the school's main corridor to the right. Radley was founded in 1847 by William Sewell (1804–79) and Robert Corbet Singleton (1810–81). The first pupil was Samuel Reynolds, who in 1897 wrote his reminiscences of school life.

Nov 28, 2014 · 1135 old boys, teachers and staff of Radley College served in World War 1. The visible War Memorial carved on Memorial Arch in 1922 contains the names of 235 individuals…. After the War, the school requested a photograph of each of the fallen. 204 photos were sent, which fill 8 albums now kept perpetually in a Chapel of Remembrance…
