John Kennedy Marshall [1] (November 12, 1932 – April 22, 2005) was an American anthropologist and acclaimed documentary filmmaker best known for his work in Namibia recording the lives of the Juǀʼhoansi (also called the !Kung Bushmen).
Bernard A. Marshall started his career in the Foreign Office where just five years earlier they had planned John Kennedy’s last visit to Britain. With experience of everyday life under dictators during the Cold War, he maintains a keen interest in the ‘Special Relationship’ with America, and questions of leadership.
