  2. Jacques Sevin SJ (7 December 1882 - 19 July 1951), was a French Jesuit known for his role in the introduction of Scouting to France.

  3. Dec 13, 2017 · Father Sevin was an educator but also a spiritual and contemplative man and, in a sense, a mystical. Son of saint Ignatius, he was a disciple of saint Teresa of Avila and read a lot of Thérèse de Lisieux’ writings, from which he found his inspiration for what he called “the scout joy”, looked for and found in the daily little things.
