He is best known for his world-record setting 500 kg (1,102 lb) deadlift in 2016 which is widely regarded as one of the greatest feats in the history of strongmen. Mar 29, 2016 · During his time in the Royal Air Force, Edward was the Test Pilot, Commanding Officer of Test Squadron for Research Test Flying, RAE Bedford from 1980-1986. He later transitioned to Senior Test Pilot for the Civil Aviation Authority from 1986-1995.
