Aelfgar was accused of treason in 1055, thereupon joining the Norsemen and Gruffudd ap Llywely of Wales against the English, but he made with peace with Harold.

She was the sister of Wulfric Spott, and is named as such in Wulfric's will, which also names her husband Morcar (not to be confused with Morcar who became Earl of Northumbria in 1065).
