The Roadhouse Murder is a 1932 American pre-Code thriller directed by J. Walter Ruben and written by J. Walter Ruben and Gene Fowler and starring Dorothy Jordan, Eric Linden, Purnell Pratt, Roscoe Ates and David Landau.
They stumble across two murders in progress of the only two other people associated with the roadhouse, the porter, Charles Spengler, and the only guest, Emil Brugger. They came face to face with the male and female culprits, who manage to escape.

Aug 6, 2019 · The supporting cast for the film is stacked, from Roscoe Karns as a delightfully gruff editor to David Landau as a gruff detective and Gustav von Seyffertitz as a gruff innkeeper. Roscoe Ates’ part is… well, bad, but, hey, Bruce Cabot is pretty great as a gruff heel.
