Indications and dose. Urinary frequency, urgency, and urge incontinence. By mouth. Adult. 50 mg once daily. Dose adjustments due to interactions. Manufacturer advises reduce dose to 25 mg once daily in patients with mild hepatic impairment with concurrent use of potent inhibitors of CYP3A4; avoid in moderate impairment.
Contraindications and cautions. Do not prescribe mirabegron to people with: End-stage renal disease (eGFR less than 15 mL/minute/1.73m 2), or severe renal impairment (eGFR 15-29 mL/minute/1.73m 2) if concomitantly taking a strong CYP3A inhibitor.
