British boatbuilder Alan Haldane (Jack Hedley) returns to the island of Crete where he played a roll in the resistance movement, fighting alongside the ‘Andartes’ after the Nazi’s occupied the island during WWII – which earned him the honorary name of “Leandros”.
Alan Haldane (played by Jack Hedley) is a boat designer who has lost both his wife and (more recently) his business.
Alan Haldane returns to Crete, where he spent World War II. He meets an old resistance comrade, Babis Spiridakis, and a beautiful woman, Annika. Babis reveals a secret from the past. Alan decides to stay on indefinitely.
