Robert William Mason (29 July 1951 – 21 September 2004) was a British actor and writer, born in Rochdale, Lancashire. Throughout 1976 he played Terry Bradshaw in Coronation Street and later as Sergeant Eddie Slater in The Lakes in 1997. [1] . He also had a regular role in Casualty during the early 2000s.

Robert William Mason (29th July, 1951 - 21st September, 2004) was a Rochdale-born actor and writer who played Terry Bradshaw, brother of Renee Roberts in 1976.
He joined the Youth Theatre in Rochdale after winning a playwriting competition and stayed with them until he was eighteen. Following this he took a course at the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 1974. He then appeared in various theatre productions and made appearances on television in Crown Court and Warship. His first play for television was On the Good Ship, Yacki-Hicki-Doola.
