Season Two graduates from the college campus and into an all-new location, as a terrifyingly funny murder mystery will begin once again. This time, the show will be set in a hospital, where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation.
•Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan officially started production of Season Two on February 18, 2016.
•Filming for the second season of Scream Queens officially began in Los Angeles at the Paramount lot on July 19, 2016 and concluded on December 6, 2016.

•Hester's story-line was intended to mirror that of Lea Michele's favorite horror movie Silence of the Lambs.
•The hospital setting drew inspiration from the classic horror franchise Halloween, which was partially set in a hospital and starred Jamie Lee Curtis in four installments.
•There was originally supposed to be three new male doctors, but only two ended up being cast, Dr. Brock Holt and Dr. Cassidy Cascade.
•There was supposed to be a two year time jump between the end of Season One and the beginning of Season Two, thus taking place in 2018; however, the premiere of the second season set the current events in 2016.
•This is the last season of the show.

The second season picks up years after the murderous events at Kappa House. Dean Munsch purchases an abandoned hospital with a haunted past. After recruiting surgeons as well as medical student Zayday Williams, the Dean shocks everyone when she enlists the services of the disgraced Chanels.
