Ron Mann was a trouble-maker as a teenager. Charged with trying to incite a riot in the mid-1960’s, he went to court and the judge told him he could either go to jail or volunteer for the draft. He served as a helicopter door gunner and infantry grunt in Vietnam from 1966- 67.
