- Out with the old, in with the new. The first series of Prey followed John Simm’s character Marcus Farrow, a Detective Constable from Manchester, wrongly accused of the murder of his wife and child.
- There’s a familiar face too. While Glenister takes the lead this time around, Rosie Cavaliero is back from Series 1, reprising her role as DS Susan Reinhardt.
- It’s from the same writer as Series 1. Chris Lunt was the brains behind all three parts of the first series, and he also provides the three scripts for Series 2.
- You don’t need to have seen the last run. With a new story and new characters, those who didn’t see the John Simm run won’t be at too much of a disadvantage here.
